六、 課程概述:
(Course Description)
本課程旨在培養學生國際職場英語文能力,並融合專業素養教育,以強化學生就業競爭力、符合國際職場需求。課程內容以國際職場常用英語為主,加強聽說讀寫能力的訓練,課程主題包含英文履歷及自傳撰寫、求職面試、自我介紹、商務應對、電話接聽、出差旅遊、會議簡報、商務英文閱讀與書信撰寫等。另外,為培育學生成為具英語基本能力的地球村公民,本課程除加強基本語文溝通表達能力,亦涵蓋終身學習、多元文化、宏觀視野、公民參與等通識素養核心能力。
七、 課程目標:
(Course Objectives)
1.具備1500-2000字左右的英語字彙
2.具備真實情境的職場英語溝通能力,如求職面試、自我介紹、接聽電話、會議簡報、商務旅遊等
3.能閱讀職場常見之文類,如求職廣告、商業廣告、備忘錄、公告、書信等
4.能寫出文意清晰的短文,如求職履歷、自傳、電子郵件、謝卡、書信等
5.通過CEFR語言能力參考指標A2
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
1.Build up a vocabulary of 1500-2000 English words.
2.Communicate in workplace contexts, including job interviews, self-introductions, telephone communications, meetings, presentations, and business trips.
3.Read writings common in workplaces, including job ads, business ads, memos, notices and business letters.
4.Write for workplace purposes, such as resumes, professional biographies, e-mails, thank-you letters and formal letters.
5.Reach CEFR A2 level.

Lecture/ Discussion/ Activities
1. Organized and effective lecture helps students apprehend authentic workplace English.
2. Oral practice and role-play in each class session helps students to demonstrate their ability to use new vocabulary, grammar, and social language.
3. Group discussion helps students develop judgment and thinking ability by creating an awareness of the varied rules in workplace.

1.缺課一定要辦妥請假手續,病假需有醫護證明,無故缺席記曠課並扣學期分數。
2.只有病假才可事後補考,其他假別須事前補考。
3.上課表現優異、參加語教中心各式課程、通過英檢考試全民英檢中級(及對照的其他考試)、或學校英文相關活動者期末可加分。
