六、 課程概述:
(Course Description)
"This two-semester course is aimed at training students with advanced and professional writing ability. The process of writing research-paper and study plan will be especially reinforced and recapitulated in order to help students with their further study. By providing samples of good-quality research papers and study plans, students are required to produce their own writing works through peer editing and teacher-correction. "

Develop essay writing skills and confidence through extensive practical exercises and activities in essay writing at the high-intermediate to advanced level.

Weekly Program – (3 hours per week)
1. The Cause Essay: definition, examples (3 hrs).
2. Thesis Statement, outlining the essay, the hook (3 hrs).
3. Supporting Sentences, writing the introduction (3 hrs).
4. Developing supporting paragraphs while working to a conclusion (3 hrs).
5. The Effect Essay: definition, examples (3 hrs).
6. Thesis Statement, outlining the essay, the hook (3 hrs)
7. Supporting Sentences, writing the introduction
8. Developing supporting paragraphs while working to a conclusion (3 hrs)
9 Mid-term test followed by a film (3 hrs)
10. Final essay 3 (3 hrs)
11. Supporting Sentences, writing the introduction (3 hrs)
12. Developing supporting paragraphs while working to a conclusion (3 hrs)
13. Final Essay hand in and Review (3 hrs)
