六、 課程概述: (Course Description) |
This course is designed to teach students the knowledge the skill of the secretarial profession. It contains lecture, activity, discussion and presentation. The lecture offers students basic theories in secretarial profession. |
七、 課程目標: (Course Objectives) |
This course aims to provide the professional operation skills on different patterns of international level events. Through the theoretical and practical instruction, the studented will be expected to attain the objectives as: 1. the global vision and cross-cultural perspectives; 2. the basic events planning skills; 3. the application of communication strategy; 4. the attitude of collaboration. |
八、 授課大綱: (Syllabus) |
The instruction will combine the theoretical with its practical application. Meeting Management draws upon two basic areas, communication theory and business management. Communication theory serves as the theoretical basis, whereas business provides the application procedures and management techniques. The phases of meeting planning will be included as following: 1. Programming 2. Budgeting 3. Developing Meeting Plan 4. Arranging Food & Beverage Service 5. Working with the Destination and Site Services 6. Pubilicity, Promotion & Public Relation 7.
